This time of year has got to be my least favourite season in Japan. Not just humid but bizarrely stormy-I guarantee I’ll lose three or more umbrellas in the next month due to ‘localised typhoon over Niall’ syndrome. It’s uncanny. (I’m discretely not mentioning England’s World Cup game tonight because my expectations are,um…not high.)
