I’m off for a magnificently lazy weekend (& to brush up on my pancake recipe!)-I hope everyone has a magnificent weekend, lazy or otherwise! (It’s also too cold but if we get snow I’ll be happy in a nostalgigic way).

I’m replying to myself which may be cause for a spell in hospital but I got my snow-hurrah! Plus it was more than the 5cm or so the news predicted-FANTASTIC! Made a (small!) snowman, threw snowballs and generally slipped around on the ice a lot attempting to get to the local supermarket on Sunday. Marvellous.
Hi,
For anyone who likes Indian food, I can recommend a newly opened place called Chad which is located near the scramble in Funabashi city centre. It has a nice decor, friendly staff and very good food. However, it is pretty spicy so make sure you drink plenty of water if you go (or beer!)Ideal for the chilly season.

Michael,
I’m interested in going to Chad! It sounds good! Is it open on Sunday and Monday?
Hi,
Yes, Chad is open on Mondays – I went this last Monday. I definitely prefer it to Gandhi, which is the other `famous` curry house in Funabashi. There`s something about Gandhi that suggests very small portions!
