I went to Nagoya for a wedding party on Saturday. It was at a hotel specifically for wedding services/receptions. The weather was really good in Nagoya and it was a really nice day for everyone I think. The wedding food was French style and absolutely delicious-the beef was well done but really succulent. I’d love to know how the chef cooked it as when I cook beef steak myself I often overdo things and burn it a bit! On the Sunday we looked around Nagoya which I really enjoyed. The castle and grounds are very interesting and I liked the ‘mini Venice’ shopping mall by the bay/docks.

I`ve never been to Nagoya but I`ve seen the Little Italy part on TV and it certainly comes highly recommended by Mino Monta. My friend visited Nagoya two weekends ago because he wanted to try the local miso katsu. Apparently it was very nice, though it would seem a long way to travel for a bit of breaded pork. Each to his own!
