I taught “Describing people” today.
Actually, this unit is quite tricky for Japanese learners, I think, especially the difference between ” have got/ has got”
e.g.- He’s got blue eye.
And ” be+adjective. e.g.-He’s quite tall.
When you want to use a noun, you use ” have got/ has got.” and when you want to use an adjective, you use ” be+adjective”.
Anyway, in the free practice stage, although I asked the students to describe their family, or friends, they wanted to describe me!!!!!! That was quite awkward to listen to….., but they really enjoyed describing me anyway, so I was happy!!!
