【解説】

★I’ve got an irresistible urge to eat ～＝無性に～が食べたいのです。

★something sweet＝何か甘い物

★Have you got ～＝～を持っていますか?

★anything＝何か（疑問文で）

★I’m sorry＝ごめんなさい

★fancy＝～したい

★somewhere＝どこか（肯定文で）

　＊慣用句的な‘・・・or something/somewhere/someone’の使い方。

　例ーWhy don’t you take an aspirin or something?

　　＝アスピリンか何か飲めば？

　例ーI think they’ve moved to Manchester or somewhere.

　　＝彼らはマンチェスターかどこかに引っ越したと思うよ。

　例ーI saw you standing outside the bank with your brother or someone.

　　＝あなたが兄弟か誰かと銀行の前で立っているのを見たよ。

★get ＝買う

★shortbread＝シュートブレッド（スコットランドのお菓子）

みなさん、ブリティッシュのビスケット、お菓子かケーキを食べたことがありま

すか?

ブリテンには人気があり、良く知られているビスケットとケーキがあるんですよ。

例えば、バターがたっぷり含んであるので、濃厚な味のショートブレッド。これ

は、伝統的なスコットランドのビスケットかケーキです。実は私の好物です。あ

と、スコーンです。スコーンをダブルクリーム（乳脂肪濃度の高いクリーム）と

ジャムとで食べると。絶対に美味しいと思うはずです。また、クランペットです。

形は丸くて小さい穴がすみからすみまであいています。どの様に食べるかという

と、クランペットをトーストして焼き、そしてバターを塗るんです。味は結構独

特です。

もし、機会があれば、食べてみるべきだと思います。ティーケーキもまた美味し

いです。これもトーストして焼いてバターを塗るんです。ティーケーキはフルー

ツの皮が砂糖で固められている物とドライフルーツが入っています。普通は紅茶

を飲む時に食べます。

Let’s learn something interesting!

Hello, everybody!

Have you ever eaten any British biscuits, sweets or cakes?

There are some popular and well-known biscuits and cakes in Britain.

For example, shortbread, which contains a lot of butter and therefore

has a rich taste. It’s a traditional Scottish biscuit or cake.

Actually, it’s my favorite. And scones. If you eat them with double

cream and jam, I can assure you you’ll find them absolutely delicious!

And then there are crumpets. Their shape is round and they’ve got

little holes running through them. How you eat them is you toast them

and then spread some butter on them. The taste is quite distinctive.

I think you should try eating them if you have the opportunity.

Teacakes are also nice. Again, you toast them and spread butter on

them. They contain candied peel and dried fruit. Normally, you have

them with tea.

ばったり！

この間の月曜日、母と船橋でランチをしました。そのあと、母がエスティーローダーで化粧水を買いに行きたいという事だったので、私も一緒についていきました。母が店員さんと話している時、他の店員さんがきて、

店員さん：″お嬢さん、お化粧していませんね～″

私：″はい。休みの日なので、すみません!”

店員さん：″それでは、お顔のマッサージをして差し上げましょうか?”

私：″え～！！良いんですか？！是非お願いします！顔をマッサージしてもらうなんてどの位ぶりだろう?”

そして、マッサージをしてもらっている最中。。。私の心の声″きもちー！！！でも、ここはデパートの化粧品売り場で、人ががんがん通るから、もし、知り合いとかにみられたら、めちゃくちゃ恥ずかしいな～！まー大丈夫でしょ。だれにも見られないでしょう。″

15分位マッサージをしてもらって、私は半分寝てしまい、かなり、顔がとろーんとしていました。その時！クリスチャンディオールのカウンターから、視線を感じ、集中して見ると、ななんと、私の生徒さんが！私をニヤニヤしながら見ていました！

私″いやーはずかしー！見てました？″

生徒さん″いやーなんか、どっかで見た事ある人だな～ってみてました!（笑）

いやーほんと、恥ずかしかったです！自分の顔をマッサージしてもらっているところを見られるってはずかしい!!!

Grated yam (tororo)

I had some Japanese noodles with grated yam for lunch last Saturday, which upset my stomach!!!

My gut is quite sensitive so although I love bananas, I can’t eat them.

They ‘re too dangerous for my stomach!

I think the reason is they’ve got a lot of fibre.

Stupidly, I completely forgot how much fibre grated yam’s got, so around my back and stomach felt really heavy and dull, but Miki( one of our receptionists) kindly massaged my back and I managed to recover from it and I could practise with the band afterwards!!!

A cockroach!

Yesterday, after jogging, I was in a very happy mood cos I really enjoyed jogging, so I wanted to have a bath. When I was just taking my clothes off, I suddenly saw a huge cockroach on the floor!!!!!!!!!!!

I absolutely hate cockroaches!!!!! As soon as I saw it, I set to thinking about how I could get it and kill it!

Luckily, I found the cockroach spray so I tried to spray it, but it was very quick to escape and I had to keep chasing it with the spray!

In the end, it came toward me so I just couldn’t help shouting” Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!” which made its movement quicker and I lost the game, unfortunately……….

I’ve overslept!!!

Because we spent a long time practising our music, I was too sleepy to set the alarm clock!!!

I was planning to meet my friends for our birthday lunch.

When I woke up, I couldn’t remember which day it was! I slept very very deeply. After a minute, I realised and checked the time and I said to myself ” Oh~nooooooo~~~~~!!!!!!!!!” Then, I wanted to call my friends but I couldn’t find my mobile phone! I just couldn’t remember where I put it before I went to bed.

After 30 minutes, I finally found it! I was really fed up with myself! Anyway, I rushed to see them. When I got there, I had to realise that I had forgotten to bring their birthday presents!!! Again! I said to myself ” Come on, Mina! Oh~nooooo!!!” But I started to apologise a lot even though I was out of breath. I was really serious! but they burst out laughing and said ” You’re so comical! It’s impossible to complain to someone with your type of personality, so never mind!”

Anyway, I’ll pop to their houses and give my presents to them!

Hello, everybody!

We practised for a long time yesterday!

At first, Niall also came to keep us company. And surprisingly, Neil’s friends came to watch our rehearsal.

They kindly brought some drink and snacks!

They really enjoyed our music! They were very happy to see Hiro and Shuhei cos they had seen a video of our Xmas party event before and they were very interested in them.

They were very impressed with Hiro and Shuhei’s skills!!! Neil was very satisfied with our practice!

Neil said ” we’re getting there!”

We are going to pracise a lot from now on so please join our event!
